Timbuktu: Land of Peace and Culture was created by citizens of Timbuktu to bring the spirit of the city to the world.

Our goal is to promote our city to Visitors, Tourists and to Natives of Timbuktu alike as a place of love and peace and art and creativity – a Golden Civilization – because: salt comes from the north, gold from the south, and money comes from the country of white people, but soft words, holy things and short stories are found nowhere but in Timbuktu.
